Immigrants Community Bridges Incorporated (ICBI)

It has been decades since Haitians are leaving Haiti to immigrate to other countries in search of a better future.
However, over the last decade, we have seen an immense wave of Haitians fleeing the country to save their lives and the lives of their families. Many of them are professionals who can no longer go to their professional activity.
Most of them are Administrators – doctors – nurses – accountants – engineers – Teachers – electricians, mechanics, etc…

  • Integration in a new community has been always challenging. It is difficult for the educated ones but more difficult for those who did not have a chance to go to school.
  • We all know the Communication, Transportation, and the housing issues they are facing every single day.
  • We also know how difficult it is for them to apply for any health benefits – Asylum or TPS, work Permit, work application, Driver’s license, etc…
  • For a better integration into the Host Community, we believe we need to share each other story, help each other and work together.
  • For a good start, sometimes, only a push is needed!
